In this review, things get groovy as we play the N64 game Beetle Adventure Racing. We find out if this racing game is worth a play. This game was released in 1999. As you can plainly see, this game revolves heavily around the Volkswagon Beetle. Every car in the game is a Beetle with varying looks and features.
For a HUGE shortcut in the sunset sands track,follow the instructions below. In the sunset sandstrack, drive untill you can see the first sets ofvertical pillars, (they are not the natural rockones in the canyon, they appear when out on theopen desert) SLOW DOWN, there will be a path offto the left. Drive down this path and follow itmaking sure you make it across all the jumps. Youwill now be in a greenish room, go through the setof round stone 'gates' and this will open up aHUGE jump in the room with 'glassy' floors.Follow the road you are on until you reach thisroom, then hit a nitro box and hit the jumpSTRAIGHT on. You will jump onto a platform andthere will be another jump in front of you, hitthis then when you land, HIT THE BRAKES!!
Continueon slowly and when you are on top of a red circlestop, and honk your horn. This will act as anelevator and wil breing you down to an undergroundtrack and it will bring you way out in front. Box #1: At the start line drive to along the rightside of course and up a small hill to find box 1.Box #2: After the first jump across river, takethe first short-cut on the left side of road afterpassing the right-hand turn sign, and at the firststone pillar to the right. Follow shortcut acrossthe two jumps and as soon as you land inside areawith the ramp that leads into temple, drive to thefar right hand corner to find the box.Box #3: Drive along road until you come to thefirst village, take the shortcut on the right sideand drive to the crossroad section and turn to theleft you will see some boxes under an overhang;the daisey box is just behind the wooden crates. Coventry Coves Daisy Boxes -There are two hay stacks where the barn is located.
The one nearest to the roadcontains a Daisy Box.Shortly after that barn is another shortcut leading into a lot of stones. Some ofthem are on top of each other. The last one on the left that has three stones ontop of each other and has a Daisy Box on the other side of it.After the town (and after the jump) is a crane.
Look behind your car while youare passing it. There is an opening in a big stone wall large enough for yourcar. Drive through the opening to find a Daisy Box.Inferno Isle Daisy Boxes -Hit the last hut before the finish line (along the small path to the left). Runover the Daisy Box to unlock the Beetle Battle Time Limits cheat.Before the Jurassic Park is a shortcut to the right. Follow the shortcut and slowdown while you are approaching the big hut so while you are in the air from thejump you can put on your handbrakes. If done correctly, you can stay on thewooden platform that the hut is on. Break open the hut and on the far right ofthe platform is a Daisy Box.In the town, the first shortcut on the right has two small jumps.
On the secondjump, hold Analog-Stick Left because there is an opening there. If you land ontop of it, drop your car on the roof of the building, where another Daisy Box islocated.Metro Madness Daisy Box -Take the shortcut to the left of the barricade after the first tunnel. Breakthrough the glass doors in the center of the first building on the left. Afterreaching the railroad tracks, turn around and go backwards on the tracks.
Yourcar will eventually hit a Daisy Box.Far through the race are few tunnels. After coming out of the one that curveshard three times, the road is straight. After a short distance, you can see twonitro blasts that are close to each other on a hill and one that is not.
Approachthe one on the hill, but do not hit it. Instead, turn left into a bridge betweentwo shortcuts. Inside, there is a Daisy Box.Mount Mayhem Daisy Boxes -Locate the ski fest in the town. There is a hole in the short little wall whereyou can go through into a jump. Jump in at such an angle to get on a pretty flatpiece of land that is way left of where the hole is.
You probably will hit thewall, but if you go backwards far enough you will find a Daisy Box.After a big jump inside some type of a crystal cave, there is a large orangebridge that slopes down and goes back up. After the bridge is a tunnel.
Lookbehind you at the end of the tunnel to see a Daisy Box. Turn around and run overit.Sunset Sands Daisy Boxes -At the beginning of the race, go right and drive through a space in between twotall rocks. Continue up the hill of sand it turns flat to find a Daisy Box.When you turn on the game, it will display a shortcut for each course. Rememberthe Sunset Sands shortcut that is shown has a Daisy Box. In the shortcut, theDaisy Box is in a tight space which turns harshly and then has a jump onto astraight and flat surface followed by another jump.
Once you land use thehandbrake and turn right, facing the wall. Drive up to it and turn right again.Drive forward until you reach the Daisy Box.
